Whether you need to send holiday greetings or for any other occasion forgetting to send a message to a specific contact is a possibility. You have so many things to do and so many people to greet that you’re bound to forget someone. But, if you program those messages when you have a moment, it’s less likely you’ll forget someone.
How to Send WhatsApp Holiday Message at a Later Time
When you’re at a party, you want to have fun and mingle with the people that are there and not have to stare at your phone sending last-minute holiday greetings. The app you’re going to need to get the job done is SKEDit. The app is completely free, and you don’t have to pay for anything included in sending the message later.
SKEDit will ask for some permissions and ask you to remove your security pattern (for example). By not removing it, the app can’t work and is unable to send the messages. If you’re Ok with that, when you open the app, tap on the WhatsApp option.
Creating Your Message
Now it’s time to set up your messages. At the top, you’ll need to enter the recipient of the message. The app will briefly open WhatsApp so you can choose your contact and then go back to SKEDit. To the side, you’ll see a Groups option. If the message you want to send is to a group, choose this option.
Your message can be 1800 characters long, and by tapping on the paperclip icon, you can also send an attachment. You can send files such as:
- Music
- Pictures
- Documents
It even has a camera icon if you want to take a picture on the spot. Make sure to choose at the time and date you want to send your message.
Below the sending time option, you can choose if you want the message to repeat. You can have the message repeat every:
- Hour
- Day
- Week
- Month
- Year
- None
If you create a message, but you’re not sure if you want to send it, you can create and schedule it, but have the app ask you before sending it. That way, if you change your mind, you can delete it.
When the time comes to send the message, you’ll see a message on your phone that it is being sent. WhatsApp will open briefly, and the message will be sent. You’ll know that the message was sent successfully since the app will leave you a message letting you know.
To reduce the probabilities of something going wrong, the app has messages at the bottom, letting you know what you can do. For example, it’ll tell you not to schedule two or more messages simultaneously or close to one another. This is to avoid any sending issues.
Final Thoughts
If the amount of people you want to greet for the holidays is too much, you can always leave a nice holiday message in your WhatsApp status for all to see. That way, you don’t miss anyone, and everyone is happy.
