Firefox: Enable/Disable Javascript

Mitch BartlettApril 28, 2017 Comments (4)

Want to enable or disable JavaScript on pages that load in Mozilla Firefox? No problem. Here’s how it’s done.

  1. In Firefox, type “about:config” in the address bar, then press “Enter“.
  2. Select the “I accept the risk!” button.
  3. Type “javascript” in the “Search” box.
  4. Double-click the “javascript.enabled” line to toggle the setting between “true” and “false” as desired.

These steps can be used to turn JavaScript on or off on the Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android versions of Firefox.
