Creating Your Own Sticker Pack on Telegram

Creating Your Own Sticker Pack on Telegram

July 29, 2019 by Judy Sanhz 1 Comment

Telegram sticker packs can give your conversations the finishing touch you’re looking for. The messaging app has a large variety of stickers packs, but they may not express everything you want to say in a sticker.

If it’s possible to create your own sticker pack in WhatsApp, why shouldn’t you be able to in Telegram? Creating your Telegram sticker packs is also a great way to get some laughs around the office when the boss isn’t looking.

Guidelines for Creating Your Telegram Sticker Packs

Your personalized sticker pack for Telegram, your images need to meet some conditions. If your image fails to meet at least one of the following requirements, it won’t be accepted.

Your future Telegram stickers need to:

  • Have a PNG format
  • Measure 512 x 512 pixels and have a white background
  • Each sticker needs to be a distinct file
  • Must be sent as an attachment and not as a picture

Creating your sticker pack is going to be a lot easier on your computer. The image you edit on your computer will need to have the text since the sticker bot won’t offer an option to add it.

So, once you’re done creating them, open Telegram web and open the sticker bot by typing @stickers. Creating an icon for your sticker pack is an option, but it’s not mandatory.

During the setup process, the bot will ask you if you want to add an emoji to your sticker, but it’s best that you only add two. You’ll also need to give your sticker pack a name. If the name is taken, the bot will deny the name until you enter a name that is not taken.

Your standard Telegram sticker pack will include 20 stickers, but some have been found to have more than 100. Adding new stickers is possible, even after you’ve published your pack.

Don’t try uploading your image by using the camera icon because your picture will be rejected. Repeat the creation process for as many stickers, you want to add. When you’re done adding type /publish and select send.

If you want to make your first sticker the icon for the pack, type /skip, and add your first sticker. Telegram will prove you with an URL to your newly created stickers. With this URL, it’s possible to share your sticker pack, or it can be used to add more stickers.

How to Use the Telegram Sticker Bot

To the left of the attachment icon, there’s a box with a slash inside it. By tapping on this option, you’ll see everything you can do, such as add anew pack, add new masks, add new stickers, remove stickers from packs, and the list keeps going.

If you want to add the ones you memorized manually by adding the first few letters of the option or by swiping up on the options that first appear.

Conclusion

Telegram has its advantages. When creating their stickers is that they don’t have to install another app on their devices. The thing you may want to do is add yet another app to take up your valuable storage.

Are we able to make animated stickers? This article says that images must be .png files but it doesn’t say how to or whether we can create animation stickers or not.
