Task

In technical terminology, a task is an executing process. In modern systems, usually one of many – multitasking systems like computers and phones will run multiple tasks very quickly and close together. Each task is given its own set of dedicated resources – including memory. The overall amount of tasks that can be run depends on the available resources and tasks.
