Google Maps: How to Change the Currency for the Country You’re Visiting

You’re going to be traveling soon, and you want to make sure you have enough money for everything. You can easily find how much you’re going to need by changing the currency settings for Google Maps. The good news is that it can quickly be done, so even if you don’t have much time, you can still do it.

How to Modify the Currency Setting on Google Maps

The currency setting in Google Maps is very useful and easy to modify. It’s also possible to use it in dark mode if you want to. All you need to do is click on the three-lined menu at the top left and click on the Search Settings option near the bottom.

Once you’re there, scroll all the way to the bottom to Region Settings. Without having to do anything, you’ll see various countries to choose from but if you need more options, click on the Show More option.

Once you’ve found your country, don’t forget to click on the blue Save button. As you can see, even if you’re in a hurry, it’s something you can do. That’s all there is to it. If you ever want to start from scratch, you can permanently erase the Google Maps History.
