How to Connect Samsung Galaxy Note2 to a TV

Connect the Samsung Galaxy Note2 to a TV and enjoy all of the content on your phone on from the sofa in your living room.

The MHL port on the device handles data transfer as well as a connection to an HDTV screen. Be aware though, that you cannot use just any MHL adapter you might find on the Internet to connect the Note2 to an HD set. Like the Galaxy S3, you’ll have to acquire one that is specific to Samsung devices.

1. Purchase the HDMI Adapter.

2. Plug one end of the adapter into the USB port on the phone.

3. Connect a standard HDMI cable to the adapter.

4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDTV.

5. Connect the power cable that was supplied with your phone to the adapter and plug it into a power outlet.

Once all of this is connected, your Galaxy Note2 will mirror everything onto the TV. You can enjoy your high resolution photos and videos. It will even route audio from the device to the TV.

If you have the cash to spend, there is also a Galaxy Note2 Smart Dock available for $100. It includes an HDMI port as well.
