Sometimes you don’t care who can see that you’re online. But there are other times you want to go ninja mode and hide from everyone. WhatsApp recently added a feature to hide your online status, but this is something that Telegram users have been enjoying for quite some time.

How to Hide Online Status and Last Seen on Telegram

With Telegram, the changes you make to your online status will also be applied to your last seen. So this means you can’t hide that you’re online, but when you’re not, everyone can see your last seen. If you’re ok with this, you can hide your online status by tapping on the three-lined menu at the top left and going to Settings.

Last seen Telegram Online

Next, go to Privacy and Security > Last seen and online. The changes you make here will apply for both last seen and online. If you choose to not share it with anyone, you can always add exceptions at the bottom. Simply tap on the Add Users option. If you choose the option to share your online status and last seen with everyone, you can add the exception of who you do not want to share it with.

When you start adding exceptions, you can see how many you’ve added. You can add an individual contact or a group. To remove someone, tap on the Never (Always) Share With option and the contacts will have dots to the right that’ll show you the Delete option when you tap on it.

Conclusion

That’s all there is to it when you want to go ninja mode on Telegram. If you don’t want to hide from specific contacts, Telegram has an option to add as many exceptions as you want. If you ever change your ming you can always go back and make the necessary changes. What changes will you be making?
