How to Turn off Recurring Payments on PayPal

You don’t have to worry about missing a payment when you pay for a service using auto-renew. You get an email from the company letting you know that you’re going to be billed soon unless you cancel the subscription before a specific date.

When you get that email, you automatically know if you want to renew or not. If you’re not sure, you only have until a specific date to decide if you want to continue with the service before your charged. But, since it may be a while since you’ve had to cancel a recurring payment, you’re not sure where you have to go on PayPal to cancel.

How to Cancel All Recurring Payments on PayPal

With the following steps, you can cancel all your recurring payments of only a few. Once you’ve logged into your PayPal account, click on the cogwheel at the top right. Once in Settings, click on the Payments tab at the top. You should all your recurring payments on the left side of your display.

Click on the one you want to cancel. When it opens, you should see the button to cancel to the right of the company logo. You’ll need to confirm your action, but once it’s done, goodbye payments.

You should see how they disappear from the list as you cancel the payment. That’s all there is to it.

When you’re paying for a service you need, recurring payments are helpful. That way, you don’t have to worry about forgetting to send the payment. You just sit back and wait for the confirmation email to arrive. But, after a while, you may not need a service anymore.
