How to Send WhatsApp Audio Messages to Telegram

When WhatsApp came out with the terms and conditions that almost everyone was against, Telegram experienced a huge rise in users. So after a while, users either switched to Telegram or started using both since WhatsApp kept changing the deadline. So Telegram became another messaging app that made its way to our phone’s home screen.

When you want to forward a WhatsApp audio message, you long-press, and tap on the forward arrow. But, does WhatsApp let you forward an audio message to another messaging app? The answer is yes, and it’s a straightforward process. Keep reading to see how to forward WhatsApp audio messages to Telegram and find WhatsApp audios for a specific date.

How to Send a WhatsApp Audio Message to Telegram

So you received an audio message from a friend on WhatsApp, and your other friend that only uses Telegram needs to hear it. To forward the audio, locate Telegram and long-press on it. Instead of tapping on the forward arrow, tap on the share icon > Swipe up and find Telegram.

Once you’ve selected Telegram, the app will ask you to choose a chat to forward the audio to.

Find and tap on the chat, and the audio message will be sent.
If you don’t use Telegram much and only have it because most of your friends use it, you’ll notice a feature WhatsApp should have. When you play an audio message on Telegram and leave that chat to do something else, the audio message will continue to play n the background.

You’ll see the audio player controls towards the top that allows you to pause or close the chat. By tapping on the audio, more options will appear at the bottom. For example, you can:

  • Repeat the audio
  • Repeat the list
  • Shuffle list
  • Reverse order
  • Skip or move on to another audio
  • Forward the audio to another contact
  • Share
  • Save to music
  • Show the audio in chat

It’s also possible to send audio messages from Telegram to WhatsApp. Once you’ve located the audio, tap on the dots and tap on the share option.
