How to Change the Style of the App Icons – No Apps Needed

November 18, 2021 by Judy Sanhz 1 Comment

Changing the style of your app icons can add some style to your Android device. After a while, you get tired of looking at the same style and want to change things up a bit. You could change the style of the app icons but using third-party apps.

But, now there’s a way to change the style of the app icons and the text style. You can do this without having to install another app on your Android device. I’m sure you already have a lot and only want to install the ones you consider important.

How to Change the Shape of the App Icons on Android

It is possible to add the form of the app icons on your Android device, but you will need to be running on Android 11. If you are them, this is only going to take a moment. Open the Settings app and tap on the Display option.

Adjust App style Android 11

There will be some styles all ready for you to use, but you also have the option of creating your own. Tap on the option that says Theme one and get ready to make some choices. The first step will be to choose the style font you want the text to have. There’s not an extensive list of options, but you can select from fours options.

Now it’s time to choose a color and then choose an icon shape. You can select up to 7 shapes. You’ll also need to choose the app layout and, to finish, name your theme. Don’t forget to select the Done button.

If you ever want to erase the theme you created, all you need to do is go back to the main screen. When you select your theme, you’re going to see a pencil icon at the top right. Tap on it, followed by the trash icon at the top right. You’re going to get a confirmation message. If you’re sure that’s what you want to do, tap on the delete option, and it’s gone.

Conclusion

With Android 11, you don’t have to install another app to change the type of your app icons. You have seven styles to choose from, and you can also modify the text style as well. If you’re not happy with the integrated options, you can also go to Google Play for more options. What shape did you choose for your app icons?
