To control the speed of your WhatsApp audios, you’re going to need an app called TalkFaster. The app has a simple interface that won’t confuse you with too many features. It gets the job done by giving you different options on how fast or slow your WhatsApp audios play.

When you first launch the app, it’ll take you through a brief tutorial on how to use the app. When you’re done going through the instructions, the final step will be to try out the app so it’ll open WhatsApp for you.

Open the chat that contains the audio you want to try out and long-press on the audio to select it. Tap on the share icon and choose the TalkFaster app.

When the audio opens in the TalkFaster, the audio will start playing at an average speed. If you want to audio to play slower, choose the option X0.75, X1.00, or X1.25. To speed things up a little, select the option to the right; X1.75 or X2.00.

When you’re done using the app, it the main page it’ll show you how much time you saved by listening to the audio using TalkFaster and not at an average speed on WhatsApp. On the app, there’s no option to remove the ad that you’ll see when playing the audio. Usually, apps have an option to remove ads by buying the ad-free version.
