Huawei Mate 30 Features

The security features of the phone can protect the most sensitive of data on the phone from being perused if the phone was to ever fall into the wrong hands. Here are the specs and security features:

Display

The screen comes at 6.53 inches in length with a resolution of 2400 by 1176 pixels. This gives an aspect ratio (the length of the phone compared to the width by ratio) of 18.5:9 and a screen to body ratio of 94.1%. The density of pixels on the screen is 409 (ppi) pixels per inch. There is also the HDR (High Dynamic Range) format which consists of HDR10. This is a special type of technology which has the ability to increase the color and contrast of media. The Huawei Mate 30 also has an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display type. This is a light emitting diode used to create digital displays in screens

Processing

The processing for this device is controlled by an Octa Core processor. This means that it is controlled by eight processor cores. This phone’s Octa Core processor includes 2.86 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A76 + 2.09 GHz, Dual core, Cortex A76 and 1.86 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A55. The two dual core processors plus the Quad Core processor makes up for eight processing cores in total. These are the most cores implemented in mobile phones so far and allow for a very fast processing speed.

Battery

The battery has quick charging features and is capable of wireless charging. It has a capacity of 4500 mAh (this is the total amount of energy that can be stored by the battery at a single time) and this allows for multiple hours of usage. The phone can be used for a whole day without needing to charge when used moderately. The Quick Charge capability will allow users to use the phone for much longer periods than it takes to charge the phone possibly getting 3-4 hours of high power usage after just a charging time of 5 minutes. It is to be noted that the charging speed with a USB charger is 40 Watts while the wireless charging speed is less at 27 Watts so there will be a slower charging time if charging is done wirelessly. The battery is non-removable and attempts to remove the battery are not recommended for this phone as it could cause damage to the device.

Storage and RAM

As for internal storage, the Huawei Mate 30 has a capacity of 256 Gigabytes. This is more than enough for the average mobile phone user and is able to accommodate plenty of media and applications. If, however, the user requires more storage on their device for whatever reason, they are able to expand their phone memory with the use of a Micro SD card. This phone accepts cards with up to 256 Gigabytes of storage. There are 8 Gigabytes of RAM installed in this phone. This is suitable for running multiple applications in the background while still leaving plenty of memory for running other apps without experiencing lag or overheating.

Camera

At the front, the phone has a camera with 32MP(Megapixels), an aperture (lens through which light passes through the camera) of f/2.0 and a 3D depth sensing feature to enhance to quality of the pictures taken. The camera at the back of the phone is a quad camera with four camera sensor types.

The first sensor type is a Cine Camera sensor with 40 Megapixels and aperture of f/1.8. Next is a 40 Megapixel Super Sensing Camera with an aperture of f/1.6 and an OIS. OIS stands for Optical Image Stabilizer and this is feature that allows the camera to stabilize recording images by adjusting the optical path to the sensor which, in this case, is the Super Sensing Camera Sensor.

The next camera sensor is the Telephoto camera with 8 Megapixels and f/2.4 aperture along with the OIS feature previously mentioned in the Super Sensing Camera Sensor. The last camera sensor is the 3D Depth Sensing Camera Sensor. This sensor uses Autofocus and Huawei AI image stabilization to pinpoint the focus onto the selected subject of the image and allows for expert picture quality. The camera is no doubt the best feature of this phone with all its complex combined features specially put together to ensure that the image or video taken is best as it can be in terms of quality and professionalism.

Network and Connectivity

The Bluetooth version is 5.1. If using a cable to connect to another device or adapter, the phone will use a Type-C USB cable. For connecting audio devices by cable, the device uses a Type-C audio jack. If wanting to use a 3.5mm headphones you can use a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. Device uses 4G bands for network connection purposes and also supports 3G and 2G.

Color and Design

The phone has been tested by its manufacturers for its tolerance for environmental factors. It has been developed to have resistance to splash, dust and water. The phone comes in Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, Emerald Green and Black colors.

Security

As for security, the phone is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner which allows the user to store his or her fingerprint scan in the phone so that only the user may access the data on the phone. There is also an option of using Face ID which essentially uses the user’s face to determine if it is the owner of the phone who is trying to access the device and let them access if the facial information proves to in fact be the owner’s.
