Thanks to Google Calendar, you don’t have to worry about forgetting an important event. But, sometimes, your calendar can get a little cluttered, and you decide to erase a few canceled events or ones that that already passed.

But, when you’re sleepy or in a hurry, you can accidentally erase the wrong event. Before you go into panic mode, there’s a way you can recover that deleted event. Keep reading to see how you can recover those deleted events.

How to Bring Back Deleted Events on Google Calendar

It’s not gone forever when you delete your event from Google Calendar. It’s actually in the calendar’s trash for 30 days. If it’s something important, you’re not going to wait so long to recover it, but that’ seems like a good amount of time to get it back. So to recover your event, this is what you need to do. Once Google Calendar is open, click on the cogwheel at the top right and go to Trash/Bin.

On the next page, you’re going to see all the events you erased in the last 30 days. Place the cursor on the events, and you’ll notice a trash bin and the restore icon. The restore icon is going to look like a bent arrow. Once you click on it, the event will be restored. It won’t ask you for confirmation.

If you want to delete the event permanently, simply click on the trash icon. When there is more than one event to restore, click on the empty box to the left of the date, and all the events will be checked. The restore and delete permanently icons will appear.
