Galaxy Note8: How to Uninstall Apps

Learn two ways you can uninstall apps from the Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone.

Method 1 – From App Launcher

1. Starting from the Home screen, slide the app launcher up.
2. Tap and hold the icon of the app you wish to remove.
3. Select “Uninstall” or “Disable“. Some apps do not have the option to uninstall, disable may be the only option. A few apps like Bixby will not have either option.

Why is the “Disable” option grayed out on some apps?
