Zoom Quick Tips: How to Join a Conversation

Posted on April 6, 2020 by Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

Until the coast is clear, the best way you can keep in touch with everyone is via video conferencing. One popular app many are using is Zoom. Until you use it, you’ll need help with the basic things the app can do such as joining a conversation.

For example, when something wants to talk to you through the app, Do you need a password? What if you get various invitations at the same time? How will you know to join the right one?

How to Join a Zoom Conversation

There is no need to create an account to join a Zoom conversation. If you don’t feel like creating an account, just install the app, and when you first launch it, tap on the blue Join a Meeting button.

Make sure that you have the ID and password to join the conversation. The person who starts the conversation needs to give you this information.

If you did sign up for a Zoom account, the Join option is going to be the second one from the left at the top.

After tapping on the option, Zoom will ask you for the chat ID, followed by the password. Once you enter this, you will enter the chat automatically. The same steps apply to iOS.

Conclusion

As you can see, joining a Zoom conversation is easy; this is a sigh of relief for those who don’t get along with technology very well. Have you been joining a lot of Zoom conversations lately? Let me know in the comments below.
