XBox One: Appear Offline While Logged On

XBox One: Appear Offline While Logged On

Posted on April 1, 2020 by Mel Hawthorne Leave a Comment

Gaming with friends is great. Video games have become a social activity with online play long since having eclipsed playing alone – unfortunately, not everyone wants that all the time. Thankfully Xbox gamers can still change their status to offline if they want to game alone.

To do so, you need to log into your account, and then immediately tap the Xbox Home button twice. You’ll be taken to the online menu. Your icon will be at the top – select it by pressing A.

Press A again in order to open the shortcuts. Here, you’ll find the My Profile option, and you’ll be able to see all of your profile information. Look to the right where you’ll find three options – the first being Appear Offline. Select it – you will look to be offline to other players, but still able to play your games!

Tip: In the My Profile section, you’ll also find the options needed in order to customise your profile info and privacy settings if you want to do so.
