WhatsApp: How to Make Conference Call

WhatsApp: How to Make Conference Call

Posted on March 30, 2020 by Mel Hawthorne Leave a Comment

WhatsApp is the ideal choice for all sorts of communication purposes – and though you may not be aware of it, that includes conference calls! Starting a conference call on WhatsApp is easy. Just follow the steps below!

Start with a regular phone call. Call one participant or let them call you and wait for the call to connect. When it has, tap the plus icon in the top right corner of your screen.

WhatsApp Add person to call symbol

You can then select one or more additional contacts to add to the call. They will then see that they are being called, and, assuming they accept, will be added to the call!

Tip: This also works for video calls! Your screen will be split between the participants. Be aware that this can take a lot of data, so only use the feature when you are connected to a Wi-Fi connection!
