Don’t you hate it when all you need to do is send one short WhatsApp message, and you start getting a bunch of them? If everyone hadn’t seen that you were online, you could have sent that message and continued with your business. But now, if you don’t answer when you’re clearly online, you’ll have to deal with their comments later.
An app will help you send all the WhatsApp messages you want and not appear online. You can send all the messages you want, and everyone will only see the last time you really used the WhatsApp app. It’s a great way to stay in the shadows, but it does have its drawbacks. Read on to see if it’s for you.
How to Reply to a WhatsApp Message and Not Appear Online
The app you’ll need to install is called Flychat. It’s free to use with some in-app purchases. For example, you can use light and dark them, but you’ll need to purchase them to use this last one. The good news is that the price is reasonable since it’ll only set you back $2.49. Toggle on which messaging apps you want the app to pick up on.
If you get multiple messages, the bubbles for all those conversations will appear together. You can easily get rid of the conversations you don’t feel like dealing with at the moment by tapping on the dots at the top right of each conversation. Tap on the close option to get rid of that conversation. There’s also a block button, just in case it ever comes to that.
The App is Great, But….
The app is great for answering a text, but it does have its drawbacks. For example, you can’t use the app to start a conversation. You can only use it to answer messages others send to you. They have to be the ones to start the conversations. Also, if someone sends you a picture, a voice message, or a document, you won’t be able to see it through the app. When you get a massage, a bubble will appear on your screen. Tap on it, and the conversation will open, but you won’t appear online on WhatsApp.
How to View Images, Hear Voice Messages, and See Documents Without Appearing Online
It works great if you’re ok with it only working with text. But, when you need to view an image or hear a voice message, they’re something you can try. Remember airplane mode? You can turn on airplane mode and view everything you need to view without appearing online.
You open WhatsApp and view away. The downside to this is that the blue checkmarks will appear as soon as you turn off airplane mode. But, at least it buys you some time to decide if what you received is worth appearing online.
Even if you love sending text messages, there comes a time when you want a break. You only want to answer the messages that need answering and not have to deal with someone who just wants to say hi because they see you’re online. Hopefully, one of these methods will work for you. Which one do you think you’re going to try first? Let me know in the comments below. Also, don’t forget to share this article on social media for others to see.
