If you just want a decent mouse and don’t want to spend much money on it, then a budget mouse is the way you want to go. You can’t expect the best performance and the most features, but there may be key features you are looking for.

Microsoft Classic Intellimouse

The Microsoft Classic Intellimouse is based on the Intellimouse 3.0 and costs $21.00. It’s designed to be ambidextrous, although the two side buttons are only on the left-hand side, making them easier to use for right-handed people. The sensitivity can be configured between 400 and 3200 DPI for a broad range of sensitivity preferences and reports the mouse’s position 1000 times a second. The 184cm cable gives you enough range of movement.
Logitech M330 Silent Plus Wireless

The Logitech M330 Silent Plus Wireless mouse is available for $14.99. It’s only designed for right-handed users and only has the standard left, right, and middle mouse buttons, with the middle click on the scroll wheel. It’s designed with a battery life of up to 24 months, from its single AA battery, if it’s left off. The mouse is designed to be relatively short and quite high so may suit some people’s grip better than others. It’s designed to be plug and play without requiring any additional software. The wireless range is 10 metres, and the sensitivity is 1000 DPI.
AmazonBasics 3-Button USB Wired Computer Mouse

The AmazonBasics wired mouse isn’t going to be amazing, but at $7.65 it’s an amazing price for a product that while cheap will be pretty decent quality, especially compared to other products in the same price range. The mouse has the standard three buttons, a sensitivity of 1000 DPI and a 1.5 metre cable.
Jitopkey M120

The Jitopkey M120 available for $10.99 is another relatively basic mouse. It’s a standard three-button mouse with a 1.6 metre cable and a 1000 DPI sensitivity. The mouse also includes a rainbow RGB led strip around the rim to add some extra colour.
Duragadget USB Left Handed

The Duragadget USB left handed mouse, available for $22.49 is one of the cheapest specifically left-handed mice in a standard shape. The mouse is wireless, with an 8-meter range, and comes with two AAA batteries. The mouse includes two extra side buttons, mounted on the right-hand side, placed for use by the left thumb. A DPI switch is included allowing you to change the mouse sensitivity on the fly.
