It’s not uncommon for users to have more than one Spotify playlist. But, what if you want to merge those playlists? Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to have your morning and mid-afternoon music in two different playlists after all. So, how can you merge two different Spotify playlists?
How to Mix Two Spotify Playlists on Android
Note: The following steps must be done on a Mac or Windows computer.
You’re not going to find an integrated feature to merge Spotify playlists. But that doesn’t mean that it’s not possible. If the amount of songs you want to transfer is a lot transferring them manually might seem tedious, but it’s possible.
Go to the Playlist section and open the Playlist you want to move the songs from. If there are several songs you want to move, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the songs you want to move. You’ll know you’ve selected the songs since they’ll be highlighted in grey.
To move the songs you’ve chosen, right-click anywhere on the grey highlight and go to Add to Playlist, followed by New Playlist. As soon as you choose this last option, your selected songs will be transferred to the new or already existing playlist.
By moving your songs to another playlist won’t delete them from where they were. You can always go to the original playlist and erase them there. Still, you can also keep them there just if you ever accidentally erase them. It can be a real hassle trying to remember the name of a song. This way, you can always take a look at the original playlist to refresh your memory.
To remove a song from a Spotify playlist, right-click on the song and choose Remove from playlist. You can also click on the dots to the right to see the same option.

In the second playlist box, add the other playlist’s name and click on the Next button. Here you have two options. You can create a new playlist for your songs or have all your songs in the first playlist you chose.
