Snapchat: How to Edit My Story by Adding or Erasing Snaps

By Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

Thanks to Snapchat, you use images rather than words to share what you’re doing with fans, family, and friends. My Story is a great feature to share whatever it is you want to everyone, but sometimes, your stories just don’t convince you.

You either want to add or remove something to make it just perfect. Adding or removing a snap sounds easy, but sometimes, you forget how to do such a simple task and need a little reminder.

How to Add  and Remove a Snap to My Story in Snapchat

If you’re new to the whole Snapchat world, then you might just want to bookmark this article for future reference. You never know when you might need it again. Since you’re going to add a snap, the first thing you need to do is take one by tapping on the white circle at the bottom when you first launch the app.

Then tap on the blue send button like you normally would when sending a snap. In the next page, you’ll see the option to either send the snap to anyone of your contacts or to add it to your Story. Tap on My Story, and you’re done. Your snap will be automatically attached.

If you want to view your story, tap on the white circle to the left of the search option and your story should be right under the Sync Contacts option.

When you tap on My Story, all the snaps you added will appear in the order you added them. Just tap on the one that you want to erase, and at the bottom right-hand corner you’ll see the trash icon that will allow you to delete that particular snap.

Conclusion

Snapchat has a lot of features that can keep us busy for hours and hours. But, before you can start enjoying those more complicated features, you have to learn the basics first. Now that you know how to add and remove a snap, your stories are going to be better than ever.
