By Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

Have you ever come across an app you know a friend of yours would love? Of course you have and instead of just telling them about the app so they find it themselves you can share it with them directly.

You can choose between two ways when it comes to sharing an app. It’s possible to share an app using your browser or by using your Android device.

How to Share an App Using an Android Device

If the app you want to share is not on your device, you’ll need to go to the Play Store and look for the app. If you do have the app installed, long-press on the app, and choose App info.

Swipe all the way down to the Store section and tap on the App details option.  You should now be where you can find the app in Google Play.

Tap on the dots at the top right corner and choose the Share option. Choose the contact and app that you want to share the app with and you’re good to go.

The app is going to be share as a link for the other person to tap on, and it’ll take them directly to the Google Play store where they can install the app.

How to Share an Android App Using Any Browser

When you share an app using your Android device, you surely noticed that when you shared it through WhatsApp, for example, it was just your regular URL.

That’s exactly what it is. Copy it and share it through email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other app. All the other person needs to do is tap on the link and install the app.

How to Install an Android App on Your Phone Using Your Browser

Let’s say that you don’t have your phone with you and you need to install and app. On your computer, sign in to your Google account when at the Google Play Store with the same account you have on your Android device.

Once you’ve found the app you want to install, click on the Install button. If you’re asked what device you want to install the app on, just tap on one of the devices listed. You can also tap on the Choose a Device list to select another device if you change your mind.

To finish things up, you’ll need to enter your password and click on the OK button. After that, the app will be installed on your Android device.

Conclusion

The next time you see ana pp you think a friend might like, you’ll be able to easily share the app with them. Also, the next time you install an app, you won’t even need to have your phone with you. What was the last app you share?
