The fridge doors also feature an extra-large water dispenser designed to be able to take even the largest of containers. The opposite door sports a large glass pane, while you could easily assume it’s some form of smart screen it’s actually a window, letting you see into the fridge without opening it, for which the light will turn on when you double-tap the glass.
It has Alexa, Google, and SmartThinQ integrations via Wi-Fi connectivity. The compressor has a fantastic ten-year warranty so you can be confident in the long-term reliability. The Energy Star certification lets you know that you won’t have sky-high energy bills. Unfortunately, the upfront is very high, even if the running costs aren’t. It features some of the creature comforts of the significantly more expensive models including a water dispenser and an ice maker. The door comes with four half-gallon shelves as well as a single full-gallon shelf for drinks storage of all sizes.
The main door for the fridge section is reversible to suit your kitchen layout and personal preferences. The top of the fridge also has a broad LED light bar to illuminate the fridge well. The placement of some of the features is a little unintuitive. The water dispenser is located on the inside of the door, which means you have to open the fridge and let the cool air out to use it. One of the main selling points is the refreshment centre which can hold and display up to six magnum bottles. Twelve bottles of wine, or 35 standard-size cans of soda.
The ice machine does just deposit ice in the freezer, however, the “cubes” are pyramid-shaped. The Home Connect app lets you remotely monitor your fridge. Unfortunately, there is no voice assistant connectivity. The water dispenser is also located on the inside, which makes it less convenient to use and results in cool air escaping the fridge when you use it.
