Treadmills are fantastic exercise machines, but they don’t come cheap. Even the budget ones aren’t cheap – but those often lack some of the most useful functions that treadmills bring with them. While they are great for testing out if you really want one, when you’re committed to home workouts, you’ll want something far more elaborate – such as one of these high-end treadmills.
The core of these treadmills is of course the same, but high-end models offer superior build quality along with improved warranties. Most models come with at least one key selling point that makes them stand out from the crowd while also nailing the basics and adding extra niceties. For example, a large built-in touchscreen can show all the same stats as a standard display, but can also show high-quality fitness videos, great scenery, or just cool movies. Realistically, including a fan or a method of routing your own music or other audio through the built-in speakers is also a pretty nice addition.
We picked different models that offer some pretty impressive special functions, whether you want a particularly steep incline, or a machine just like in the gym – there’s something for every running, walking, and fitness fan here!

The 3G Cardio Elite Runner is a high-quality treadmill designed to be quiet and powerful. It features a 4CHP motor allowing it to support users up to 400lbs and accelerate quickly. It also means that unless it’s being tested, it doesn’t have to work as hard as weaker motors allowing it to be quieter. The large rollers also help to minimise noise levels. The build quality and warranty are excellent and the size, speed, and angle of the running area are good.
Aside from the quiet design, there does seem to be a relative lack of killer features. There is no large screen, just a standard, and a rather outdated-looking console. It does feature a pair of built-in speakers, though you have to connect via a 3.5mm jack. It also features a fan to keep you cool while you workout.
- Supports users of up to 400lbs
- Great warranty
- Outdated console
- No large screen
- No outstanding features
