Outlook lets you change the appearance of your calendar to suit your personal preferences and working style.
If you don’t really like the current background color of your calendar, change it. By the way, if you’re working with multiple calendars, assigning a different color to each calendar is an excellent idea.
Steps to Change the Background Color of Your Calendar
- Open your Outlook Calendar.
- Click on the Settings icon.
- Then select Personalization.
- The list of available background colors will appear on the screen.
- Select the background color you want to use.
If you have a single calendar, you can use your Windows accent color to keep everything in the same direction.
If you have multiple calendars, all you need to do is right-click on the calendar you want to edit. Select a different background color and save the changes.
The Preview feature automatically changes your background so that you can see if you really like the color you’re about to set.
You can also choose between Light Mode and Dark Mode. Of course, if you spend long hours in front of your screen, it’s best to select Dark Mode. But if you prefer vivid colors, use Light Mode.
Enjoy your new Outlook background color!
