There’s also an app called any.do designed specifically as an alarm or reminder app for supplying structure.
Sometimes we leave a conversation off with a promise to get back to it later, or perform a task later and report back and those requirements or commitments get lost in the shuffle of a busy life. But what if you can turn your WhatsApp chats into reminders?
With any.do this will longer be an issue. No more forgotten promises or missed deadlines. You can set a reminder right in the middle of your chats. And get reminders on any device that has WhatsApp installed. It is simple, straightforward and easy to implement.
Any.do can be integrated on Mobile Phones with both Android and iOS Operating Systems and PCs that WhatsApp installed or whatsapp.web To integrate any.do into whatsapp on any mobile device log into your premium account. If you do not have an account then go to https://whatsapp.any.do and click on Getting Started and log in with your Gmail account and password. Log in with your premium account and click on Settings. On the drop-down menu click on integrations then WhatsApp. Add your WhatsApp phone number and send. A verification code will be sent to your mobile number. Confirm and send. Click on reminders and turn on.
You can add a reminder directly to any.do or send a reminder from a previous chat. To add a reminder directly to any.do, go to your WhatsApp chats and click on the any.do chat. Type the name of your reminder and any.do will prompt you for the time. Add the time you want the reminder to go off and you are good to go!
You can also send a reminder by selecting any message on WhatsApp and forwarding to any.do. Again, you will be prompted for the reminder time. Add it and you have successfully forwarded a reminder to any.do.
You can also integrate any.do into WhatsApp web and desktop just as easily.
First, you need to have an any.do premium account. Launch the any.do app and click on settings then integrations and WhatsApp. Register your WhatsApp number and confirm the verification code
Turn on reminders in the any.do app and create a task. Login in to your WhatsApp account. You will see a chat with any.do, click on the chat and type remind to (the task name). You will be prompted by any.do chat to enter time. Enter the reminder time and create a reminder.
Forwarding a reminder is like the normal forward to in WhatsApp. To do so open any of your ongoing chats and select the task or message and forward it to any.do. Enter the time for the reminder. Any.do will set the message as a reminder. So there you go, easy and very doable.
