Sending encrypted messages is a must when you’re dealing with sensitive information. It’s important to choose a messaging service with this option. Otherwise, you might run the risk of your messages being intercepted. But, which one to choose?
Before choosing your password manager, you may have done some research to see which one to go with. Bitwarden may have come upon the list. But besides keeping your passwords safe, Bitwarden can also help you send those encrypted messages. Here’s how.

If you don’t have Bitwarden installed on your device, please go to Google Play and install it. Once you’ve created your account and your on the app’s main page, you’ll find four different options at the bottom: My Vault, Send, Generator, and Settings.
Tap on the Send option, and once you’re in that section, tap on the plus sign to the right. You’ll need to fill out information such as Name, File Type, Deletion date, Expiration date, Maximum access count, New password, and Notes. You’ll also see options to hide your email from the recipients and disable this send so that no one can access it.
If you’re a free user, you’ll experience some restrictions such as not sending files, only text. The messaging service will send your messages with encryption of end-to-end AES-256.
