How to Update Microsoft Edge Browser

Posted on July 8, 2021 by Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

One of the many advantages of keeping your Microsoft Edge browser updated is that it can help you fix common errors. For example, the browser might be giving you problems and not opening in full screen. Whatever the error may be, updating the browser never hurts. Here’s how you can check.

How to Check for Available Update for Microsoft Edge Browser

To check if your Edge browser is up to date, you’ll need to click on the three dots at the top and place the cursor on the Help and Feedback option.

When the side window appears, click on the About Microsoft Edge. Edge will start checking for updates and will display any available ones. Just click on the Relaunch button to install them, and you’re good to go.

Android

If you’re using Microsoft Edge on your Android device, you can keep Edge updated manually or automatically by updating your apps. Whenever there’s an update available, the update for Edge will appear with all the other apps too.

iPad

On your iPad, you can keep Edge updated by first going to the App Store. Tap on your profile picture and swipe up. You should see a list of all the apps that need to be updated. If Edge has an update pending, it’ll appear on the list.

Conclusion

Regardless of what device you’re using, keeping the Edge browser up to date is easy. You’ll get things such as bug fixes as soon as possible and enjoy the latest features.
