Turning a PDF into an Excel spreadsheet has its benefits. For example, the data you received in the PDF becomes usable, and you can add any information you deem necessary. Also, the data you extract from the PDF can be used for visual purposes. Regardless of the reason, converting a PDF into an Excel spreadsheet is possible on desktop and Android.

There are web apps you can use to turn that PDF into an Excel spreadsheet. Convert PDF to Excel is a free web app you can use to get the job done. You don’t have to create an account, and it’s completely free.

Click on the green upload button and upload your PDF. You also have the option of uploading your file from sources such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. As the file is being converted, the site will indicate how much time is left until your file is ready to download.

Once the conversion of the file is done, you’ll see a download button. Click on it, and the download process will begin. There are no limits to the number of PDFs you can convert, and the PDF can even be 500 pages long or longer, and it’ll still get the job done.

PDFtoExcel is another option for converting a PDF to Excel. It’s also free, No need to register, and you can upload files from your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. The site eliminates all the PDFs you load after six hours, and it doesn’t ask you for any type of personal information.

If you only download one ODF, you can get it without signing in, but after the first download, Adobe asks you to sign in to download your file. It gives you the option of signing with Adobe, Google, or Apple.

PDF to Excel Free Android Apps

You’re not always going to be on your computer. So, when you need to convert a PDF, you can count on the following Android apps that are free to use. For example, PDF to Excel – PDF File Converter with OCR is a good option.

The app doesn’t take very long to convert the file; unlike some other apps can take up to an hour if the conversion is free. The app gave no problems during testing, got the job done, and didn’t bombard me with too many ads.

PDF to Excel for Free – iOS

For iOS users, an app that you can try is called PDF to Excel. Once the app is done downloading, locate the PDF you want to add, whether on your device or on the web. Tap on the share button. From the apps listed, tap on the app’s icon.

Once the file is done uploading, choose it from the app’s file list and tap on the bottom’s convert option. In the next window, the app shows you will be the file in Excel format.

Final Thoughts
