When you’re doing some photo editing, one of the most fun things you can do is remove the background. By removing it, you can paste the picture on a funny background and make everyone think you’re on vacation.
The good news is that there are free apps you can use to remove the background. That way, you don’t have to deal with the refund process. Since one app may not offer as many options as other apps, I’ll list various apps you can use, and you can choose which one works best for you.
Unlike other apps, PhotoRoom adds a background as soon as you upload an image. There are quite a few options to choose from, but not all of them are free. The ones you’ll need to pay for will be labeled Pro. If you’re willing to upgrade, you’ll get extra options such as removing the logo, HD cutout, and export, Accessing thousands of Pro templates, and optimizing and resizing for platforms. You can either pay $9.49 a month or $69.99 a year.
If you don’t want to or don’t have the time to remove the background from an image, why not have the app di t for you. Remove bg is the best app I’ve tried that does a good job of removing the background. All you have to do is upload the image either from Google Photos, Your device’s gallery, or you can also take a picture.
Then the app starts to process the image and, in a moment, shows you the final product. If you don’t like the final product, you can tap on the Edit option to erase or restore any part of the image. The app offers a large variety of backgrounds for you to choose from. You can choose from cities, Wilderness, and other great options.
There are also solid colors to add, but you can create your own color if you don’t see one you like. Once you’re done, don’t forget to tap on the Save button.
When what you want to do is not remove the background but change it, you can try Background Changer. When you first launch the app, you can choose if the picture you’re going to upload is of a person or an object.
The app offers a lot of background options. First, you can choose from backgrounds such as Clouds, Newspapers, Gradients, Shadows, Studio, Split Color, Artistic, Solid, Hanger, and Wood. If you don’t see a background you can use there, you can upload another image from your device’s gallery to use, or you can search for one on Google.
Once you have your background, the app gives you options to crop your image, Use filters, UseOverlay, Adjustments, Structure, Fit, Stickers, and Text. There’s also an option that’ll let you see the before and after of the image. When you’ve saved the image, you’ll see sharing options so everyone can see your work of art.
It’s happened to all of us. You look great in a picture, but what’s in the background doesn’t make the picture look any better. Thanks to these apps, you can remove that background and add one that’s going to save the picture. Which app are you going to try first?
