How to Create a Floating Bar With Your Favorite Android Apps

How to Create a Floating Bar With Your Favorite Android Apps

October 7, 2020 by Judy Sanhz 3 Comments

There are apps that you constantly use. For example, some always have a reason to open WhatsApp; it’s either looking at someone’s status or checking to see if you have a message and weren’t notified of it.

It’s not a huge inconvenience to leave the app you’re using at the moment to go to your home screen to open another one. But, if there’s something that can’t make things even a little faster, it’s always worth a try.

How to Put Your Favorite Apps in a Floating Bar

Since we all have an app that is used frequently, it’s nice to have quick access to that app. If you didn’t even have to go to your device’s home screen to open, it would make things go even faster. Thanks to an app called Floating Bar LG V30, you can always have access to your favorite apps while multi-tasking.

There are different things you can add to the floating bar. For example, you can add apps, Music, Tools, Weather, Contacts, Websites, Upcoming events, and Recent apps. Let’s says you want to add apps to the floating bar. The app lets you add a total of 20 apps and you can also rearrange the order of the apps.

You’ll only see a total of five apps at first, but to see the rest swipe up or down and the remaining apps will show up on the other rows. To adjust the floating bar, tap on the cogwheel at the bottom right. You can adjust things such as:

  • Hide on landscape mode
  • Collapse when touch outside
  • Circular scroll
  • Stop service by remove float button
  • Vibration on expand
  • Theme
  • Bar Opacity – You can use the slider to adjust
  • Rearrange tabs

By tapping on the dots at the top right, you can purchase the app and remove the ads. You’ll also see options to donate to the developer so the app can be improved. The floating bar will have an icon on your screen with an arrow pointing right. Simply tap on the arrow to open the bar to see your apps.

If you’re not happy with the position of where the floating bar is, it’s possible to drag it to any other position. To add or remove any apps you’ll need to tap on the app icon. There’s no way to open the app through the floating bar since all you can do is look and tap on the app you want to open.

Conclusion

The floating bar is very useful since you never know when you need to use and app as soon as possible. For example, when you’re looking at TikTok videos and you suddenly remember that you didn’t send that work email for tomorrow’s meeting.
