How to Co-Watch with Someone on Instagram

How to Co-Watch with Someone on Instagram

Posted on June 15, 2020 by Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

Since it’s not always possible to be with family or friends, being able to still watch stuff with them is a plus. Thanks to the Co-watch feature on Instagram, you can look at media and comment on it together.

The feature is available on all Instagram accounts, and it is easy to use. You can look at media such as videos and pictures with as many as 6 other users.

Instagram Co-Watching: How to Use It

To start using Co-Watching, open the Instagram app, and tap on the airplane icon at the top right. Tap on the camera icon at the top right to the side of your user name.

Look for the person you want to Co-Watch with from the suggestion list or type their name in the search bar. You can choose to only Co-Watch with one person, but Instagram allows you to add as many as six people.

Once you’ve selected the users you want to add, tap on the Start option to start the call. When the other user answers the call, tap on the Media option at the bottom right of your display.

Choose what you want to share from your liked posts to share and Co-Watch with. The image or video you choose will be what takes up the most space in the call. If you select a video, it’s only going to keep looking until you add something else.

Conclusion

Just because you’re stuck at home, it doesn’t mean that you can’t watch video or pictures with friends. It’s a lot more fun to watch things with others than by yourself. What will you be sharing on Instagram?
