Galaxy S9: How to Screenshot

Galaxy S9: How to Screenshot

By Mitch Bartlett Leave a Comment

There are two ways you can capture the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S9. Here’s how it’s done.

Option 1

  • Press and hold “Power” and “Volume Down” for about 1.5 seconds. You’ll hear a camera shutter sound and the screenshot is saved.

Option 2

  1. Ensure “Palm swipe to capture” is enabled under “Apps” > “Settings” > “Advanced features“.
  2. Use the side of your hand and swipe it left then right across the screen to take a screenshot.

If you wish to be prompted to share or crop the screenshot after one is taken, enable “Smart capture” under “Apps” > “Settings” > “Advanced features“.

Screenshot images are stored on the phone memory under “Pictures” > “Screenshots“, or in the “Gallery ” app within the “Screenshots” folder.
