The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a feature that leaves the display on to show notifications, the time, and date. It’s a neat feature, but it does sap a bit of battery power when enabled. If you wish to disable it, here’s how.
- From the Home screen, select “Apps“.
- Choose “Settings“.
- Select “Display and wallpaper“.
- Tap “Always On Display“.
- Slide the “On” slider to the “Off” position.
This post applies to the SM-G930F, SM-G935F (Edge) models of the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.
