Galaxy s10e: How to Add Contact

By Mel Hawthorne Leave a Comment

Adding a new contact on your Galaxy S10e can be done in just a few taps! Here’s how to add a new one to your contacts list.

First, you need to open your Contacts app – you can do this in one of two ways. If you know where on your phone the Contacts app itself is, you can tap on it, or if you don’t, you can get there via your phone app.

Use the phone icon (its appearance will depend on the theme you are using but will usually resemble a phone of some sort). Then, tap on the Contacts option on the bottom right.

The Contacts option

You’ll find the button to add a new contact near the top – a plus.

Add new contact

Tap it and you’ll be able to see the screen to add a new contact. The options here will depend where you’re trying to save the contact to. You can change this at the top left of the new contact page.

New contact page

You can save your contact to your phone, your SIM card(s), or your Google account. The actual options for what info you can attach to the contact depend on the save location you’ve chosen.

Tip: No matter where you save it, you’ll be able to save basic info like names and phone numbers. SIM contacts are the most restrictive, while Phone or Google or Samsung contacts allow for more info to be saved – including emails, addresses, notes and more.
