If you want to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone, there are a couple different ways to do it.
Button Press Method
The first way to take a screenshot is the standard button press method.
- Press and hold the “Power” button and the “Volume Down” buttons at the same time for about two seconds. You’ll see the screen flash, and you’ll hear the camera shutter sound.
Palm Swipe Method
If you want a little more flare when taking screenshots on your Note8, you can turn on the palm gesture for it.
- Open “Settings” > “Advanced features“.
- Enable “Palm swipe to capture“.
With this setting turned on, the best way to use it is to curl your fingers and use the back side of your hand to swipe across the screen. When you do, you’ll see the screen flash and hear the same camera shutter sound you would normally from taking a screenshot.
Screenshot images can be located under “Pictures” > “Screenshots“, or in the “Gallery ” app within a “Screenshots” folder.
