Dropbox: How to Get Emails About New Features and Tips

Dropbox: How to Get Emails About New Features and Tips

Posted on February 28, 2021 by Mel Hawthorne Leave a Comment

Through just using the Dropbox app, you can gain general experience in how most things work. Most people, however, will end up choosing to only use a limited set of features. For some, this choice may be because they know that they don’t need any of the other features offered. For others, though, this will be because they don’t know about the other features available.

Dropbox offers a set of email newsletters to help keep users up to date with the latest features and give them tips on making the most of existing features. If you’re curious about what upcoming features do and if there are any useful features that you’re not currently using, you may want to sign up.

How to Sign up for the Features and Tips Newsletters

If you want to sign up for the new features and tips newsletters, you can do so through the notification settings. To be able to get there, you first need to sign in to the Dropbox website. From there, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner, and then click on “Settings.”

Once you’re in the settings, switch to the “Notifications” tab, then choose which of the top three checkboxes in the “News” you want to tick and hear about. “New features and updates” is a newsletter specifically dedicated to keeping you aware of all of the new features added to Dropbox in each update.

“Tips for using Dropbox” is a newsletter that provides tips for making the most of Dropbox’s features. “Tips for using Dropbox Paper” provides tips specific to the Dropbox Paper collaborative document platform.

Choose which of the three email newsletters you want to sign up to, then tick the relevant checkboxes in the “Notifications” tab of the settings.

Dropbox’s newsletters contain helpful tips and details about new features that help you get the most out of Dropbox. By following the steps in this guide, you can sign up for whichever Dropbox newsletters you want to read.
