Many Chromebooks that run the ChromeOS do not have a right mouse button. So how do you right-click like you would on a Windows PC? Fortunately there are a few of options.
Option 1 – Tap with Two Fingers
- Tap/click the mouse pad with two fingers instead of one, and it will be treated as a right-click.
Option 2 – Hold ALT
- Hold down the “ALT” button on the keyboard while tapping/clicking once on the mouse pad.
Option 3 – Connect a Mouse
If you have a problem with one of the above options, you can connect a USB mouse with two buttons to the Chromebook and use the right mouse button just as you would any PC.
