How to Find Version of Google Chrome

By Mitch Bartlett 1 Comment

If you ever need to see what version number of Google Chrome you are currently using, or if your version is 64 bit or 32 bit, just use these steps to view the information.

Option 1 – Any Version

  1. Type “chrome://version” in the address bar, then select “Go” or “Enter“.
  2. The version information will appear at the top of the screen.

Option 2 – Windows, Mac, and Linux

  1. From the default view, select the  menu icon located at the upper-right portion of the screen, then choose “Settings“.
  2. Select the  menu on the upper-left part of the screen, then choose “About“.

The version number and 64/32 bit version information is displayed on the screen.

Option 3 – Android and iOS

  1. From the default view, select the  menu icon located at the upper-right portion of the screen, then choose “Settings“.
  2. Scroll down and select “About Chrome“.
