Best Handheld Printers That Work With Android Devices

By Mona Leave a Comment

Photos capture memories – but what’s the best way to print them? With eBooks and digital pictures becoming so popular, it’s minimized the need for hard copies of your favorite photographs. Now you can do almost everything from flip-books to hardcover books or printed pictures to stickers. And you can print immediately from your android device with handheld printers.

There are printers out there with great features, like accessing your pictures or documents from anywhere or printing some fun creations and keepsakes. Below is a list of some of the best handheld printers that work with your android.

1 Polaroid Mint

If you’ve been listening to Greta Thunderberg talk about saving the planet and you want to play your own part, then this product is a step in the right direction.

Interestingly, it uses ZINK paper, which means it doesn’t use ink or toner. This printer connects via Bluetooth in order to print and is compatible with both Android and Apple devices. It’s an instant printer that prints pictures within thirty seconds of connecting to it.

It also comes with some editing features that add glamour to your already amazing pictures. Having this printer means you can take it on the road and print pictures at your convenience. It can print up to fifty pictures without having to put in the additional paper.

When the pictures are printed, you can expect them in a 2”x3” format with the sticky back. They can serve as pictures for albums or stickers for your laptop, backpack, car, or fridge.  To use this printer, you need to download the Polaroid mint app from Google Play Store or from the Apple store.

2. HP Sprocket 200 – Plus

HP Sprocket Plus Photo Printer is well known for the sleek look of its prints, either as 5.8 cm by 8.6cm snapshots or stickers. The printed pictures or stickers come in a 5.8 by 8.6cm size and on an HP Sprocket photo paper.

This printer also has a mobile app available on Google play store for customizing your pictures before you print them. The size of this printer is as small as a cellphone, which means you can temporally carry it in your back pocket. It’s good for scrapbooking and card making and connects to mobile phones via Bluetooth.

3. Lifeprint Portable Printer

This is another good hand printer that works for both Android and Apple phones. Digital Trends magazine has, on more than one occasion, referred to it as the Best Zink Printer as it uses the ZINK technology in printing its pictures without needing ink and toner cartridges.

The app associated with this printer is also a little more advanced than most mobile printer applications. It also allows users to follow or unfollow each other and share their experiences with each other. You can send pictures directly to family and friends, and safeguard pictures — even in the case of a lost smartphone. It also makes use of coveted augmented reality technology.

4. Aibecy Pocket Thermal Printer

This printer is not limited to printing just photos and stickers. It also prints labels, records, QR codes, and messages, among other web content. When it comes to printing text, it offers users some sweet font options and connects via Bluetooth.

This printer comes with an inbuilt 1000 Mah rechargeable battery and can print content with 203DPI. But the pictures only come in black white. It also serves as a recorder with a small and attractive exterior.

5. Phomemo-M02

While most of the previous printers focus mostly on printing pictures, this one focuses on printing notes you take during a meeting, work plan, etc. It also prints labels or stickers on thermal paper. It works with Bluetooth 4.0 that connects with both mobile phones and tablets.

It comes with an app and a battery that charges very quickly. The 5V2A tech it uses produces very clear prints. The battery, when fully charged can last for 24 hours when in use or for a week when it’s not being used.

Wrapping Up

The first thing to keep in mind when purchasing a handheld printer is quality. It won’t be the same as a normal photo printer. Still, it’s a step towards having total control over those important pictures and memories. These handheld printers are all fantastic, just make sure you pick the one that’s right for your photos.
