How to Get the Best Deals on Amazon

By Judy Sanhz Leave a Comment

Have you ever gone to a store to get a look at a phone you want, to later buy it on Amazon? I know I have. Amazon is definitely the place to go when to want to save some cash, but there are some tips help you get an even better deal.

The following guide will help you find the best deals on Amazon and help you save money that can go towards that dream vacation. Some tips will require that you have Amazon Prime, but not all of them.

Amazon Outlet

Amazon Outlet is a great place to get the cheapest deals possible. Amazon probably hopes that you never find this page, but here it is anyway. On Amazon Outlet, you’ll find a large variety of great things you can buy at an even lower price.

There are also Lightning Deals that are only available for a certain amount of time. Amazon displays the remaining time, so you know how much time you have left. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you get early access to deals that will only be available to you and then everyone else.

Amazon Coupons

Paying less is always a good thing, even if it is a few dollars. With Amazon Coupons, you get coupons for an extensive amount of products. You can get coupons on items such as personal hygiene, cleaning supplies, makeup, toys, and more.

Some products apply the coupon automatically, but others will need you to clip it out. To be on the safe side, it’s best if you always clip the coupon out.

If you see that you can’t place certain coupons with certain deals with the same order, you’ll need to place those orders separately to get the full discount.

Shop at Another Countries Amazon Site

If you live in a country whose currency is currently in its best moment, you can try shopping at another country’s Amazon site. It’s a good idea take a look at your countries import tax to see if it’s worth it.

This is also a useful trick if you have friendly or family in the US and are planning to visit them soon. Go to the US Amazon site, do some massive shopping and ask your family or friends to save those items for you. So, the next time you visit, they’ll be waiting for you to pick them up.

Amazon’s Subscribe & Save

There is usually something that runs out at home. It’s either toilet paper or dog food. With Subscribe & Save you have household items sent to your home at a great price. You also get a 5% discount on the things you subscribe for.

You will need to have these household items shipped on regular bases and if you order for more than five things the discount goes up to 15%. A trick you can try is subscribing to something you need and once you have it, cancel the subscription.

Buy Used and Check Out Other Sellers

When you want to buy something, you might not even consider buying a used item. It’s definitely worth considering since the used items could include a phone that has only been turned on twice.

Look into the seller reputation and read the comments from users that have purchased things from that seller to see if it’s worth buying from them or not.

There is also no obligation to always buy from Amazon. There are also other sellers that sell the exact same product and a lower price.

Click on Amazon’s Today’s Deals

On Amazon’s main page, they have a section called Today’s Deals. Just like the name states, they are deals that are only available for 24 hours and then they are gone. There should also be a clock on the item so you can see how much time you have left to buy it.

Amazon Warehouse

Amazon Warehouse could be the best place to get the best possible deals. But, before you get your hopes up, you should know that the items here were possible opened and used and then returned. Others may have been damaged before they were shipped. If the price is worth that risk, then Amazon Warehouse is worth a try.

Conclusion

Times are tough, and almost everyone is looking for ways to save as much money as possible. With the above options, you will definitely save some cash and enjoy great products in the process. How do you save some money on Amazon? Share your money saving tips with us in the comments below.
