Pragmatic Play Studios has released an unconventional three-reel slot
Developers from Pragmatic Play studio have unveiled a new three-reel Hot Chilli slot. The game differs from the classic machines unconventional mechanics and original design.
The playing field is a Chinese vat of boiling oil, which the user looks at from an unusual angle - from the top down. The 3x3 grid is divided into 9 fixed paylines in allslots.
The main feature of the game is an unusual style of visualising the spinning of the reels: the symbols do not spin on the reels, but emerge from the boiling oil in the vat, and do not take up all the cells. Part of the fields remain filled with hot liquid and do not participate in the formation of prize combinations. Such mechanics of displaying combos make the machine look like virtual scratch cards.
The symbols used are images of Chinese cooking products: pieces of tofu and beef, mushrooms, corn, bacon, shrimp and chilli peppers. The last one acts as a wild and can contain an additional multiplier from x2 to x5. The product images are reminiscent of the icons from the Sizzling Spins slot machine from Play'n GO. When forming prize combinations, winning symbols are taken out of the vat with chopsticks.
"We are very excited to release our new Hot Chilli machine. Its fun gameplay tied to stewing meat and vegetables, innovative approach to reel spinning and elegant gameplay make for a fantastic video slot," said Pragmatic Play development director Yossi Barzeli.
The minimum line bet on Hot Chilli is 0.01 credits in online casino currency and the maximum is 5 credits. The payout table is located on the left side of the screen. The maximum multiplier is x5000. There are no free spins or bonus rounds in the game.
