Pinterest provides a mobile version of their website for users who visit from mobile devices. The full, non-mobile version of the site has way more features though. If you’d like to view the full version from your Android device, you can with these steps.
While vising the Pinterest website in your browser, press “Menu” and see if there is a “Show desktop version” option available. If not, you may want to consider downloading Google Chrome for Android and using the “Show desktop version” option within the app.
Many Android devices have an option where you can change the user agent string in the browser. It can often be found by opening the Browser app, then selecting “Menu“ > “Settings“. The setting can be named differently depending on which Android device you have. It will often be called something like “User Agent”, “UAString” or “View mode”. From this setting you can select “Desktop” or “Internet Explorer”. Doing so will enable your device to display the non-mobile versions of every webiste you visit, including Pinterest.
Some devices do not have this setting. In these cases, you may want to consider using Dolphin Browser for your web browsing needs. It has the setting and performs a bit better than the stock browser.
What happened to the “Show Full Site” option on the Pinterest website?
They removed this option since they switched to a responsive type of website.
