Acrobat Reader DC: “Save as” Doesn’t Work

Acrobat Reader DC: “Save as” Doesn’t Work

Posted on December 2, 2021 by Mitch Bartlett Leave a Comment

Users of Adobe Acrobat Reader commonly have problems where the “Save as” option doesn’t work. Instead, a blank window appears.

You can usually fix this problem with these steps:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Windows users select Edit > Preferences… macOS users select Acrobat Reader Preferences.
  3. Select General on the left side.
  4. Uncheck Show online storage when saving files.
  5. Select OK at the bottom of the screen.

The “Save as” option in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC should now work properly.
