6 Options For Customizing Your Razer 2 Phone

6 Options For Customizing Your Razer 2 Phone

By Mona Leave a Comment

If you just got a new Razer Phone 2, you’re probably excited to check out all its great features. Well, here are some you might not have heard about yet. The Razer 2 has several options to customize the device to suit your productivity and display needs.

Productivity

Razer 2 has a few alternative settings that can help improve your productivity and upgrade your personal scheduling.

Wake and Sleep Modes

To make it easier and faster to wake up and lock your phone, you can set it up to allow you to wake it up by simply tapping the screen or double-tap your phone to have the screen lock.

To turn Tap to Wake feature on, select “Settings” then “Display.” In the “Advanced” menu, set the “Tap To Wake” option as on. For the Double-Tap to Sleep, in the “Advanced” menu, set the “Double-Tap to Sleep” option as on.

Schedule Do Not Disturb

Everybody needs some down time where they aren’t bothered by notifications or people trying to contact them. Not only can your new Razer 2 give you that, but it has the capability to schedule that time as well. So, if you know you’re going into a meeting at 2pm, you can set it ahead, trusting your phone to stay silent.

Under “Settings,” select “Sound” and then “Do Not Disturb Preferences.” Here, you can adjust the dates and times you wish your phone to stay silent.

Game Booster

You heard me right! If gaming is your thing, then Razer 2 can help you become more productive at that too. After all, Razer phones are known for their great gaming capabilities.

To enable this option, select “Settings” then “Game Booster.” From there, you will see a few settings and you can choose the one that fits your needs. And don’t forget, you can

Display

Since we use our phones for just about everything these days, we want to keep it as personal as possible. And that includes the look and feel.

Personalized Appearance

Selecting a wallpaper background that matches your personality can be both inspiring and relaxing. Razer 2 gives you the choice to set it for whatever appeals to you. You can also change the look of the icon style to match.

Razer is including Nova Launcher Prime on all of their phones now, allowing ultimate customization ability for everything from app layout to scrolling styles.

Night Light

No matter how old you are, we all need a night light to help us find those midnight snacks. To do this, you select “Settings” then “Display” and finally, “Night Light.” From there, you have two choices.

First, you can set a specific time by picking “Turns on at Custom Time.” This is great if you always go to bed at a similar time. Or you can choose “Turns on from Sunset to Sunrise.” Depending on where you live, this can give a more natural feeling to your sleep cycle.

Battery Life

Despite its reported excellent battery life, no one wants to be guessing how much battery their phone has left. Who can take that chance? The Razer 2 allows you to add a battery life tracking icon to your home screen.

To add it, click on “Settings” then “Battery.” From there, you turn on the “Battery Percentage” option.

Conclusion

If you didn’t see something you were hoping for, don’t worry! This list is certainly not everything the Razer 2 has to offer. Their customization possibilities are practically endless. You’ll never get tired of making this phone your own.
