Vista: Synchronize Time With Internet Time Server

How to synchronize the time on your computer with an internet time server.

1. Click Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Date and Time.

2. Click the Internet Time tab.

3. Click Change settings. Click Continue if prompted by UAC.

4. Under Configure Internet time settings, check the Synchronize with an Internet time server box.

5. Select the time server from the Server drop-down box. The option, time.windows.com is the most common one selected.

6. Click OK, then OK again to save the setting.
