Vista: Disable Activation Prompt

You can temporarily disable the Windows Vista activation prompt for 30 more days by using this method.

Wait until you have 1 day left to activate Windows Vista, then perform these steps.

1. Click START–>RUN

2. Type sysprep /generalize

You then will not be prompted to activate Windows Vista for another 30 days. You can do this with each copy of Windows Vista up to 3 times.
