How to get the iPhone battery replaced.
The iPhone battery is sealed within the unit, making it difficult to replace the battery yourself. Opening the case and replacing the battery yourself voids the warranty on the iPhone. If you encounter battery problems within 1 year of purchasing the iPhone, it is covered under warranty.
You can get your iPhone battery replaced at an Apple store near you. You can also contact Apple Technical Support. Apple says the process usually takes 3 business days.
If your iPhone has exceeded the 1 year warranty, the battery replacement will cost $79. $6.95 extra if you need the unit shipped.
