When you visit certain web sites in Firefox, you might get an error message that says something similar to the following:

site address is a site that uses a security certificate to encrypt data during transmission, but its certificate will not be valid until date/time.

To try to solve this problem, just double-click on the time in the lower right corner on the Taskbar and set the time correctly. Be sure to check the time, month, date and the year. As soon as it is corrected, this will usually fix this issue.

When trying to burn a music CD with iTunes, you get the following message:

The songs in this playlist will not fit on one Audio CD
Do you want to create multiple Audio CDs with this playlist split across them?
This will require more than one blank CD to complete.

even though you are not trying to burn more than the CD can take.

I came across this problem and discovered that it was a problem with an MP3 file I had downloaded from the Internet. The file was corrupted and was causing this problem.

I had to remove one song at a time and try to burn the compilation without that song in order to track down exactly which file was causing the issue. Once the song was removed, iTunes burned the audio CD fine.

When you attempt to open Microsoft Office 2008, you get an error that says:

Microsoft Office 2008 is already in use

This error means that somebody else on the network is running Microsoft Office 2008 with the same product ID. Each copy of Office 2008 that is running on a network must have a different product ID. To resolve this issue, you must remove the licensing information from at least one of the computers and replace it with new information.

1. Disconnect the computer from the network.

2. Open the hard disk where Mac OS X is installed, and then open Applications.

3. Open Microsoft Office 2008, double-click Additional Tools, and then double-click Remove Office.

4. Double-click Remove Office, press and hold down the Option key, click Remove Licensing Information Only, and then click Remove.

Note: The Continue command label changes to Remove Licensing Information Only when you press the Option key.

5. Close the Remove Office window, and then click Quit.

6. Start Office 2008. When prompted, enter the correct licensing information.
