How to forward your Outlook 2007 email automatically to another email address. Useful for when you are going away on vacation, or using a different email address for a certain period of time.
1. In Outlook 2007, from the Tools menu, select Rules and Alerts. From the Email Rules tab, choose New Rule…

2. Select under Start from a blank rule select Check messages when they arrive and click Next.

How to enable or disable the sound for Mail Notification in Outlook 2007.
1. In Outlook, click Tools menu > Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and click Advanced E-mail Options.
3. Under When new items arrive in my Inbox, check or uncheck Play a sound.

How to enable or disable the new email notification box that appears by the time.
1. In Outlook 2007 click Tools > Options.
2. Click Preferences.
3. Click Advanced E-mail Options.
4. Check or uncheck the Display a New Mail Desktop Alert (default Inbox only) box to enable or disable it. Click OK.
5. Click OK again.

Reduce the amount of spam you get by blocking email in Windows Mail by the domain of the country they come from.
These options are only available in Windows Vista.
1. in Windows Mail, click Tools > Junk Mail Options.
2. Click the International tab.
3. Click Blocked Top-Level Domains List… .
4. You can then select the top level domains you wish to block. Selecting some of these coutries will help reduce the amount of spam you receive.

Disable the ability for an email recipent to forward a message.
To use this feature, you will need the Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services Client.
1. While in a new message, click the Microsoft Office Button.
2. Click Permission and select Do Not Forward.
Note: The recipent of your message must be an Outlook user.

Prevent recipients from being able to forward your message.
While you are writing a Memo, click on ACTIONS>DELIVERY OPTIONS
Check the PREVENT COPYING option.
Now forwarding will be disabled for this message when you send it.

There is a simple way to check to see if an email you get that claims it’s from PayPal or Ebay to see if it’s really from them.
For Ebay users, you can forward the email to:
spoof@ebay.com
For PayPal users, you can forward the email to:
spoof@paypal.com
You will get a response within minutes as to whether or not the email was authentic.

1. Filling Out Forms Obviously, if you provide your email address on a form you are filling out, you’re giving that address to somebody that may sell it to another individual or company. Most people provide their email address information for something free in return or a membership to a web site. You will have to read a web sites’ privacy policy to see what they are really doing with the addresses they obtain, but sometimes you still can’t be sure to trust providing your address. I always suggest having a separate email address just for these types of things.
